BOTTOM LINE:
Stayed at the resort
NOTEWORTHY:
Restaurants in Argentina open for dinner service at 7:30pm.
BACK STORY:
We woke up to howling winds and pouring rain. The decision was made to just stay inside and take care of some "office" matters.
I spent the day working on the blog. Bruce took care of correspondence.
About 5pm cabin fever hit both of us so we wondered down town in hopes of having some of the famous Argentina beef. By the time we parked, more rain had settled in. Without an umbrella (always pack one in the car!) I wrapped my head in my scarf and off we went to puddle jump.
First stop was the "Moviestar" mobile service store that I have service with. We basically found out what my minute/text balance was on my phone and to feed another $10 into the service. Then we were off to find two restaurants that had been recommended. That's where our "Noteworthy" statement kicks in...restaurants do not open until 7:30pm for dinner service! Back to the Dublin Pub for another drink and light meal. Being recognized, the waiter immediately brought over the "English" menu.
The rain was still coming down when we finished so we headed back home and were able to find a couple of English speaking programs to watch before calling it a night.
